Churchwardens and PCC roles

Churchwardens

The churchwardens at Holy Trinity assist the Clergy and others in the running and direction of the church. The role of churchwarden is an ancient one, with many traditions attached to it but it's also vital in keeping the church up and running from day to day.

There are currently four churchwardens at Holy Trinity:

Paul Doggett - Vicar's Warden

Simon Brake - Vestry Warden

Peter Griffiths - Accountant Warden

Catherine Kendall - People's Warden

Other important roles at Holy Trinity:

As well as the wardens, Holy Trinity also has an elected PCC (Parochial Church Council) who make decisions about the running of the church, assisted by the PCC secretary, Keri Husband. There is also a treasurer, RoseAnne Doggett, who ensures good stewardship of the church's finances. The PCC secretary and the treasurer both sit with the clergy and wardens on the "Standing Committee".
