Life at Holy Trinity

Local (Coventry) agencies we support

Nexus (

This Christian music college based in Earlsdon runs courses for musicians to develop their musical skills, and use them in God’s service.  The courses comprise: live performance, technique, theory, styles, pursuit of worship, studio, song-writing, music technology, and in-depth biblical teaching in both classroom and small-group settings.  HTC regularly has students on placements from Nexus.

Coffee Tots (

Opened in November 2010 as a joint initiative with the Cathedral and Christ Church Cheylesmore, Coffee Tots (previously ‘3 Spires Tots’) is a drop-in centre in City Arcade.  It provides a relaxing café environment, offering affordable fairtrade drinks and snacks for parents and young children.  There is a play and craft area and they work with a number of organisations to offer other services including infant feeding support, money management and parenting courses.  Amongst other HTC members, Geoff Wilcox, Catherine Jupp and Lou Day are involved on a regular basis.

Meeting Place

Founded by HTC, and still very much dependent on HTC support for both finance and personnel, this is a drop-in centre for the homeless and lonely held at the Salvation Army citadel on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.  It provides some simple free food (3000 meals/year), in a warm and friendly environment.  It achieved a Queen’s award for voluntary service in 2007.  Angela Smith of HTC is the main coordinator, and many other HTC members act as volunteers.
